(1 of 2) * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Nebraska, including the following counties, Antelope and Pierce. * WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 411 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Neligh, Plainview, Osmond, Clearwater, Oakdale, Brunswick and Foster. (2 of 2) * WHAT...Flooding caused by earlier excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central Nebraska, including the following counties, Howard and Sherman. * WHEN...Until noon CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Numerous rural, county roads remain closed due to flooding that occurred earlier Thursday morning. In addition, several small creeks and streams remain out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 713 PM CDT, Emergency management and law enforcement reported continued flooding and closure of several rural, county roads within an area centered primarily 5 miles either side of a line running from Sherman Reservoir to St. Paul. In addition, various creeks and streams within the Warning area are also in flood, due to 2 to 5 inches of rain that fell in a short time early Thursday morning. This includes an automated gauge along the Turkey Creek north of Dannebrog, which has so far crested at 20.40 feet at 530 PM CDT and is at a stage of 20.25 feet as of 645 PM CDT, well above minor flood stage of 17 ft. While flood waters should continue to slowly recede over the next 12 to 24 hours and creeks should ease back to within their banks, there is the possibility of additional heavy rainfall this evening, which could cause further flooding issues, if it occurs. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Dry Creek, North Loup River, Davis Creek, Munson Creek, Cedar Creek, Deer Creek, Big Slough, Lake Creek, Oak Creek, Auger Creek, Loup River, Cow Creek, Cady Creek, Prairie Slough, Rock Creek, Middle Loup River and Turkey Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area from thunderstorms this evening and tonight. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
