The repeater was established in 2017 and is open to the public for personal (non-business) usage. Families and individuals are encouraged to utilize the repeater. Emergency traffic takes top priority. You must hold a current FCC GMRS license to access the system. Please identify your callsign during initial contact and every 15 minutes of repeater use. The repeater has a few dead zones but is accessible in many locations throughout several counties including areas in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, ie; Auberry, Shaver Lake, ect.. Please fell free to use the repeater but follow all rules set by the FCC. Range depends on signal path, terrain and/or weather conditions.
