| Coverage: | This is a short range repeater and the coverage is limited to Orangevale, Folsom, parts of Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights and Roseville. Not all areas have HT access. I have been able to hit the repeater from El Dorado Hills, but it is spotty after the initial hills that face the Sacramento Valley. 5 mi radius. |

With the duplexer the RF loss is about 5 watts. The antenna being used is a PCTEL/Maxrad MBX450 450-470 MHz 5.15 dbi base station omni directional antenna. The feedline is 50’ of LMR-600, a low loss feedline and very close to hardline results. The antenna is approximately 28 feet off the ground on a ground elevation of 281’. The projected wattage at the antenna is 29 watts. With the antenna gain we are looking at the Effective Radiated Power (ERP) of 55 watts. |
