| Notes: | Repeater info: -Motorola MTR 2000. -Transmitting at 50 watts before duplexer. -Transmitting on the same Freq & PL tone as our "Jamestown 625" repeater. (Not a Voting system, you will drop out between the two repeaters) General Notes: -The goal is to extend GMRS communications locally with the use of commercial repeaters. -With the terrain severely limiting line-of-sight, it's almost impossible to communicate effectively & efficiently without use of a repeater. -We currently have 2 repeaters on the air. -Interference is avoided naturally with a hill between the repeater sites. -This is work in progress. We're still fine tuning. All feedback is appreciated. -This repeater is open for anyone & we encourage any/all licensed individuals to utilize these repeaters. Requirements: -Must hold a valid GMRS license. -Must follow all FCC Rules & Regulations. -Full station ID is to be transmitted every 15 during active conversation. -Full station ID is to be transmitted when clearing from the frequency. -Please refrain from using foul language. -Please do not "kerchunk" the repeater to test your coverage. -Please use responsibly & present yourself in a professional manner. -Thank you & enjoy! |
