Many users ask, "How do I add a repeater?" The process is straightforward but requires a **RepeaterBook.com account**, and you must be logged in to submit a new repeater.

===== Steps to Add a Repeater =====

1. **Log In**: Ensure you are logged in to your RepeaterBook account.
2. **Locate the Add Repeater Button**:  
   - Navigate to the **Quick Search** page for the state (or country, for regions outside North America) where the repeater is located.
   - Click the blue **"Add Repeater"** button at the top of the page.

3. **Fill Out the Form**:
   - Provide as much accurate information as possible about the repeater. Include details such as frequency, location, and mode.
   - Submit the form.

4. **Check for Matches**:
   - The system will check for any repeaters in the database that may match your entry.
   - If a match is found, you can:
     - Review the existing repeater and request edits if needed.
     - Cancel your submission if the repeater is already in the database.
   - If no matches are found, your entry will be submitted to an admin for review.

===== Admin Review Process =====

  - **Admin Approval**:  
    After submission, an admin will review your request to:
    - Verify the information provided.
    - Ensure formatting is consistent with the database.
    - Check for duplicates.  

You will receive an email once the admin has acted on your request, usually within a couple of days.

  - **Notification**:
    - If **approved**, you will receive an email with a link to the new repeater listing. You are encouraged to review the listing for accuracy.

===== When Will the Repeater Appear? =====

- **Online Database**:  
Once approved, the repeater will immediately appear in the online database.  

- **Mobile App**:  
The repeater will not appear in the RepeaterBook app immediately. Updates to the app may take up to two weeks via the app store or Google Play.
