Favorite Repeaters

This is a Premium feature that requires a RepeaterBook Plus subscription.

The Favorite Repeaters module allows registered users to create and manage a personalized list of repeaters. This list can be filtered, exported, or printed for convenient access.

The Favorites list is accessible through My Dashboard and provides quick access to repeaters most relevant to the user.

🔹 Features of the Favorite Repeaters List

✔ Custom List Creation – Users can curate a list of their most-used repeaters.

✔ Filtering Options – Filter by band, state, mode, and category.

✔ Export & Print – Format data for radio programming or record-keeping.

✔ Positioning System – Users can prioritize repeaters by assigning positions.

✔ 500 Repeater Limit – Users may store up to 500 repeaters in their list.

Adding Repeaters

Repeaters are added from the Repeater Details page. To add a repeater:

  1. Search for the repeater using the Repeater Search tool.
  2. View the Repeater Details page.
  3. Click Favorite » Add Favorite.
  4. A confirmation pop-up will appear to confirm the addition.

Editing

Users can customize repeaters in their Favorite List by clicking the Edit button.

Editable Fields:

✔ Comment – A short note for personal reference (not exportable).

Comment

Users can add notes in the Comment Field (e.g., “Great coverage here!”).

⚠ Limit: 50 characters.

🚫 Not included in exports or filtering.

Deleting

Deleting a repeater removes it from the list.

Filtering

The Favorites List can be filtered by:

✔ Band – View only repeaters on specific frequency bands.

✔ State – Filter repeaters by state (Only states with saved favorites appear).

✔ Mode – Filter by analog or digital repeater modes.

✔ Category – Filter based on user-defined labels.

📌 Exporting respects active filters.

Archival & Deletion Warnings

🚨 If a repeater in the Favorites List is archived, a warning message appears:

“Warning: Some Repeaters No Longer Exist”

“You have X repeaters in your list that no longer exist. Please remove them.”

✔ Users will be given an option to automatically remove archived repeaters.

✔ Clicking “Remove Them” will delete all archived repeaters in bulk.

Exporting

The Favorites List can be exported in multiple formats for easy radio programming.

Policy Notes

If a RepeaterBook Plus membership expires for more than 90 days, stored favorite repeater data may be deleted.
