Flow is at 4900 cfs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:45 AM PST Friday the stage was 9.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:45 AM PST Friday was 10.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to minor flood stage by this afternoon. It is forecast to continue to drop and fall below flood stage late this evening, but remain near flood stage into Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 8.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.8 feet on 04/05/1955. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood (2 of 2) * WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations up to a few inches through mid-morning. Winds could gust as high as 60 to 70 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Sierra Slopes. * WHEN...Until 4 PM PST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow.
