This repeater can be accessed by portable radios in the 7 county area with no problem. And it has EchoLink on it and the people on the repeater are friendly to newcomers. It is active.

The claim of a 60 mile coverage radius is a bit 'optimistic'. Good conversations, friendly people, open EchoLink. Sometimes linked to other machines in metro. Active for UHF.
